Effects of soil pH on crop growth
Soil pH affects fertility and fertilizer utilization. Nutrient utilization is higher when pH is 6.5-7. Excessively acidic or alkaline soil will affect crop growth and quality. Electrolyte water has application prospects in regulating soil pH. Studies have shown that it can effectively regulate the pH value of cultivated soil and is stable. The method of using strong (medium-strong) acid for quick adjustment and weak acid for maintenance is feasible in field production.

The pH value of the soil affects the fertility of the soil. Soil with inappropriate pH value will reduce the effective components of the soil. The most intuitive manifestation is the impact on the utilization rate of fertilizers. Studies have shown that when the soil pH value is between 6.5 and 7, the effective utilization rate of various nutrients in the soil is higher. Acidic electrolyte water contains effective bactericidal ingredients such as hypochlorous acid, has a high oxidation-reduction potential and a low pH value, and is often used to prevent and control plant diseases in agricultural production. Using acidic electrolyte water to disinfect seeds before sowing can effectively kill the pathogens carried by the seeds (5-10 times diluted acidic electrolyte water). Acidic electrolyte water can be sprayed on a large area to prevent and control crop diseases, such as leaf mold, gray mold and late blight. Spraying acid electrolyte water with a certain amount of organic silicon can promote the absorption of silicon by crops and enhance crop resistance; spraying chitosan dissolved in acid electrolyte water can prevent and control insect pests in the crop production process (refer to chitosan content 0.1%~0.4%), such as aphids and Trialeurodes vaporariorum

Application of alkaline electrolyte water in agriculture
