CIP is the abbreviation of Clean In Place, which means cleaning in place, online cleaning, and cleaning in place. CIP cleaning does not decompose the production equipment, and can be used to clean the system safely and automatically with simple operation methods. It has been introduced into almost all food, beverage and pharmaceutical factories. CIP cleaning is a procedure for on-site cleaning of processing facilities, especially in the food, dairy, beer, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Simply put, pipes, pumps, tanks and other transportation and production components are connected together to form a loop, and then a series of cleaning and rinsing, disinfection and other solutions are pumped through the loop at different temperatures. The purpose is to remove any residues, dirt or sediments attached to the inner wall of the pipe and tank by soaking, mechanical separation and cleaning.

Operation steps of electrolyzed water in CIP of food and beverage industry

Acidic electrolyzed water disinfection does not require a heat source and can be completed in four steps: 1. Rinse the residual milk or residual liquid in the pipes and related containers with clean water. 2. Use alkaline electrolyzed water to wash away residual fat/protein, etc. 3. Use acidic electrolyzed water to rinse protein and dirt, and disinfect the pipes and containers. 4. Finally, rinse with pure water. The residual acidic water and alkaline water are mixed to become ordinary water. There is no residue after acidic water disinfection, and there is no need to consider the problem of disinfectant residue.
